Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital in Jakarta as of April 19, has treated as many as 693 coronavirus patients (SARS-CoV-2), comprising 564 patients that tested positive for COVID-19, 17 people under monitoring (ODP), and 112 patients under surveillance (PDP).

The number of inpatients decreased by 14 people compared to that in Saturday, Yudo Margono, head of the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital, said in a statement here on Sunday.

"If compared to the previous day's 707 inpatients, now there are 693 people. For positive patients, the number increased by 11 people, to 566 people, PDP reduced by 25 people (previously 137), and ODP has remained constant," Yudo explained.

In Galang Island Hospital, another emergency hospital of Indonesia for COVID-19 treatment, 43 patients were being treated, comprising 28 confirmed COVID-19 patients, six PDP, and nine ODP, all of whom were male, he said.

Overall, the number of coronavirus patients in Indonesia has increased. Based on data released by the government, as of Sunday, there were 6,248 people testing positive for COVID-19, an increase of 325 people compared to the previous day.

Of the total, 5,082 patients were in treatment, 535 people died, and 631 patients recovered.
