They comprised 397 men and 297 women. Of the total, 605 patients tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease, 75 patients under surveillance (PDP), and 14 under monitoring (ODP), Yudo Margono, head of the emergency hospital, remarked here on Thursday.
The number of confirmed cases at the hospital increased by 46 to reach 605, from 559 on Wednesday.
The number of PDP cases decreased by five people, from 80 to reach 75, while ODP cases increased by one person, from 13 patients to 14 patients.
The Kemayoran Athlete Village was converted into an emergency hospital and officially inaugurated by President Joko Widodo on March 23. The hospital has a total capacity to accommodate 12 thousand people.
Meanwhile, Government Spokesperson for COVID-19 Response Achmad Yurianto noted that a total of 913 COVID-19 patients had recovered from as many as 7,418 confirmed COVID-19 cases as of April 22, 2020.
A total of 635 patients died from the virus. The number of patients under surveillance was recorded at 17,754 while those under monitoring reached 193,571 people, Yurianto remarked at a press conference at Graha BNPB as broadcast by BNPB Indonesia's Youtube account in Jakarta on Wednesday (Apr 22).
He stated that the number of positive cases in Indonesia went up by 283 as compared to that recorded on Tuesday (April 21). The number of recoveries also recorded a surge of 71 patients and the deaths by 19 people.
