Based on the result of the laboratory test of the National Police, the package delivered from the US contained 5F MOMB PICA, or commonly known as liquid cannabisPontianak, W Kalimantan (ANTARA) - The West Kalimantan Provincial Police arrested a 67-year-old US national, identified by his initials as LRS, on charges of possessing liquid synthetic cannabis, according to a spokesman.
The US national was arrested after the police obtained a report from the Pontianak customs office that a package suspected of containing liquid synthetic cannabis was delivered from the United States, Drug Director of the West Kalimantan Provincial Police Senior Commissioner Gembong Yudha revealed here on Saturday.
After receipt of the report, the police seized the package and sent it to the police laboratory in Jakarta for examination.
"We headed to the address mentioned on the package -- BLKI in Southeast Pontianak -- but when we arrived there, we failed to find the recipient of the package," he stated.
The police became aware of the whereabouts of the US national only on Friday (April 24) in Serimbu, Landak District and then arrested the suspect.
"Based on the result of the laboratory test of the National Police, the package delivered from the US contained 5F MOMB PICA, or commonly known as liquid cannabis," he remarked.
