"In 2020, the scenario for post-pandemic economic recovery has become a crucial part of the macroeconomy framework of RKP 2021," Monoarfa, who is also head of the National Development Planning Board, said during a meeting on the National Development Plan 2020 here on Thursday.
The minister said plans to speed up economic recovery are based on the assumption that the COVID-19 pandemic would end this year.
In its 2021 working plan, he continued, the government would emphasize development in four sectors, namely the recovery of industry, tourism, and investment sectors, reforms in national health system, social safety net system, and disaster endurance system.
The working plan would cover seven national priorities that have become development agendas, in accordance with the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) 2020-2024.
The seven priorities are strengthening economic resilience; regional development; improvement of human resource quality; mental revolution and development of culture; infrastructure; development of environment and disaster endurance, and dealing with climate change; political, legal, defense and security stability; and, transformation of public service.
"The seven national priorities will support the integrated recovery of the economy and social reform, in line with the RKP 2021," the minister remarked.
