The number of inpatients treated at the hospital rose by 25 to reach 852, from 827 earlier, head of the Wisma Atlet Hospital Vice Admiral Yudo Margono, concurrently commander of the Joint Regional Defense Command I, noted in a statement here on Tuesday.
The patients comprised 401 men and 268 women, he remarked.
Margono noted that 669 of the 852 COVID-19 patients had tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease, while 53 are patients under surveillance (PDPs) and 130 are people under surveillance (ODPs).
The number of patients testing positive for COVID-19 increased by six to reach 669, from 663 a day before.
The number of PDPs also rose by two to reach 53, from 51, while the number of ODPs climbed by 17 to touch 130, from 113 earlier.
Since March 23, 2020, a total of 2,233 patients have registered with the hospital of which 1,046 were discharged after making full recovery, while three succumbed to the disease, he noted.
The Kemayoran Athlete's Village was converted to officially serve as a COVID-19 Emergency Hospital on March 23, 2020. The hospital has a capacity to accommodate 12 thousand patients.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital on Galang Island in the province of Riau Islands also recorded eight recoveries, thereby bringing the count of inpatients at the hospital to 14, from 22 earlier.
"No COVID-19 patient is treated. The number of PDPs (patients under surveillance) reaches 11, while there are three ODPs (people under surveillance)," he noted.
