Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital (RSD) in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, recorded the recovery of 2,128 inpatients from March 23 to May 28, 2020.

"The hospital has registered a total of 4,016 inpatients, of which 2,128 were discharged, as they had recovered since March 2, 2020," Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, spokesman of the emergency hospital, noted here on Thursday

The total number of inpatients transferred to other hospitals has, so far, reached 120, while three patients had died of the disease.

The emergency hospital for COVID-19 treatment also recorded that the number of recoveries rose by 70, from the figure on May 27, while the number of inpatients decreased by 95.

On Thursday, the Wisma Atlet Hospital treated 790 inpatients, including 763 testing positive for COVID-19 infection. The remaining 27 inpatients were categorized as patients under surveillance.

The 790 inpatients comprised 510 men and 280 women.

Meanwhile, the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital on Galang Island treated 38 COVID-19 positive patients, and there were no patients under surveillance (PDP) or patients under monitoring (ODP).

Since April 12, 2020, the Galang Island Emergency Hospital for COVID-19 treatment registered a total of 122 inpatients, of which 83 were discharged after recovery. No patient has died so far. Related news: Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital discharges 1,936 recovered patients
