Thank you.Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Twitter account of Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, with the handle @lbp_real, is confirmed to be fake as the coordinating maritime affairs and investment minister confirmed here on Tuesday that he was not on Twitter.
"I, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, do not have any Twitter account. I am only on Instagram and Facebook. That is all. Thank you," he stated in an Instagram story's video through his blue tick-verified badge account @luhut.pandjaitan.
The @lbp_real account showed up a day before and gained more than 3,400 followers since it claimed to be Pandjaitan's personal account in a tweet. However, the account is currently already suspended by system.
"It is my personal account and this is my very first tweet. I will share information with you all, fellow Indonesians, regarding my activities, opinions, and achievements. Horas!" the account tweeted on Monday, June 1.
Several Twitter users replied to the tweet, yet most of them questioned the authenticity.
