Gojek has taken the lead as a multi-service platform that our users and partners continue to rely on
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Gojek's online transportation services offered feature service solutions to over 100 thousand Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to bolster resilience of their business activities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Gojek provides complete solutions and tools, so that MSMEs can easily migrate to develop their online business," Gojek Co-CEO Andre Soelistyo noted in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

Soelistyo expounded that the solution was beneficial since consumers preferred shopping online as one of the new habits in adapting to clean and healthy living behaviors.

According to Soelistyo, MSMEs should be a position to migrate to digitalization and online business since restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores cannot solely depend on visiting customers.

Efforts to develop the online business of MSMEs are in line with their requirements, as they cover the aspects of marketing, taking orders, payment, shipping, and business management.

"Gojek has taken the lead as a multi-service platform that our users and partners continue to rely on," he emphasized.

Soelistyo is optimistic that efforts to encourage MSMEs to enter the online business would support the government in maintaining economic stability during the pandemic.

On-demand services comprise GoFood, GoPay, or GoSend, thereby helping MSMEs reach millions of customers.

Furthermore, various innovations to encourage business include GoBiz, an easy-to-use multifunctional application to help MSMEs in managing and developing online businesses.

Another innovation is Selly, an application that allows MSMEs to more optimally boost sales by targeting potential customers through social media and Gojek's on-demand services. It also includes a Point-of-Sales (PoS) service that can support MSMEs in managing transactions and accountancy in a systematic manner.

Said Adhani Prima, owner of Ganci Unyu Muslimah in Yogyakarta, one of the SMEs, has benefited from Gojek's integrated solution, as it was able to connect with customers during the pandemic.

Prima pointed out that the service helped business quickly and made it easier for consumers to run the order process with the Selly application, transact with GoPay, and make shipments with GoSend.

"My income has increased. Earlier, I had never thought that selling online was easy," Prima stated.
