Today, we sealed three other business sites after sealing two business sites yesterday.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Sunter Agung village-level administration in Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, has sealed five business sites for violating large-scale social restrictions (PSBB), effective since Sept 14.

"Today, we sealed three other business sites after sealing two business sites yesterday," Sunter Agung Village Head Danang Wijanarko stated here on Thursday.

Officers of the Sunter Agung village-level administration along with personnel of the Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) cracked down on business sites found violating PSBB.

"No business sites should be found violating the rules anymore," he emphasized.

It is not the first time that PSBB had been enforced in Jakarta, so business sites had no reason to disregard health protocols, he stated.

"If they want the seal sticker to be removed, they must soon complete the requirements by providing hand sanitizers and thermometer and maintaining social distancing, among others," he explained.

Chief of the Tanjung Priok Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) Evita confirmed that the three business sites sealed on Thursday afternoon comprised two food stalls and a barber shop.

"The food stalls still serve dine-in customers and do not provide hand sanitizers. Meanwhile, no barber shop is allowed to operate during the PSBB in Jakarta," he expounded.

The business sites will be sealed for three days. They can operate again after fulfilling health protocols.

Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has officially slammed the brakes on relaxations applied to PSBB in the capital and announced their complete re-imposition to contain the spread of COVID-19.

"Taking into account the emergency situation in Jakarta, we are left with no other choices but to apply the emergency brakes. This means we have to implement PSBB as it was at the onset of the pandemic. This is the emergency brake that we have to pull," he noted in a press statement at the Jakarta City Hall recently.
