West Java Police's Traffic Director Senior Commissioner Eddy Djunaedi revealed that eight out of the 10 victims were identified, and most of them were from Central Java.
"The identification process is underway for the two other victims," he noted.
Four of the eight identified victims -- Tutur Ehwan Setiawan, 43, the minibus driver; 41-year-old Saepudin; Rasbowibowo aged 55; and Vina, 25 -- were the residents of Pekalongan, Central Java.
Three other victims -- Kiswoyo (47), Sudirjo (47), and Sumitri (60) -- were the inhabitants of Pemalang, Central Java, while the last one was 45-year-old Afrizal from Tanah Datar, West Sumatra.
The traffic accident took place on Monday at 3 a.m. local time, killing eight people on the spot, while the two others breathed their last in the hospital.
The police is yet investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
