Cirebon, West Java (ANTARA) - Eight died, 14 suffered moderate injuries, while one was seriously injured after an Elf micro-bus, with registration number D-7013-AN, hit a Toyota Rush, with registration number B-2918-PKL, on the Cipali toll road, West Java, Monday.

"Eight people died (in the accident)," West Java Police Chief Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi stated here on Monday.

The accident occurred on Monday at around 3:30 a.m. local time, precisely at KM 184,300 of the Cipali toll road located in Ciwaringin Village, Ciwaringin Sub-district, Cirebon District,

Sufahriadi noted that the Elf micro-bus carried 16 passengers onboard, while eight people and the driver were seated in the Toyota Rush.

The eight, who lost their lives in the collision, were passengers of the Elf micro-bus.
