Under the program, same-price fuel was distributed to 253 locations across Indonesia by the end of 2020, he added. This means Pertamina, Indonesian state-owned oil and gas company organizing the program, has achieved the target of 243 spots, he continued.
The ‘BBM Satu Harga’ program has been extended to people in 46 locations in Sumatra, three in Java-Madura, 52 in Borneo, two in Bali, 22 in Sulawesi, 38 in East and West Nusa Tenggara, as well as 90 locations spread across Maluku and Papua.
"Through 2024, we aim to have 500 distributors," Tasrif said.
Pertamina said it is optimistic about the target as it is seeking to provide affordable fuel for people in all regions of the country.
