Of the four miners, two survived and two others were found dead, Romi Aprijal, head of the Emergency Section of the South Solok Regional Disaster Mitigation Office (BPBD), stated here on Wednesday.
"Two survivors, Rifan Saifudin (28) and Aji (30), the residents of Pati, Central Java, are currently being treated at the Abai Community Health Center," Aprijal remarked.
The two that died were identified as Sugito (32) and Yudi Purnomo (32), also the residents of Pati, Central Java.
Meanwhile, the two others missing were Miyanto (51), a resident of South Bunut, Lampung, and Sulistiyono (41), a resident of Pati.
The BPBD received information about the landslide that occurred in Kimbahan, Sangir Sub-district, Batang Hari, on Monday evening, on Tuesday afternoon.
The BPBD and local search and rescue office (Basarnas) immediately rushed to the location of the natural disaster upon receiving the information. Search efforts continued to look for the two missing people.
