Tangerang, Banten (ANTARA) - Floods submerged several areas in Jakarta's western suburb of Tangerang on Saturday, prompting thousands of people to shift to higher ground.

The Tangerang City Natural Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) started evacuating residents from their homes to camps early on Saturday.
