Manado, N Sulawesi (ANTARA) - A 5.2-magnitude earthquake struck several parts of North Sulawesi province at 10.31 p.m. WIB (Western Indonesia Time) on Tuesday, according to the local geophysics station.



The quake was centered 135 kilometers southeast of Bitung City, at a depth of 10 kilometers, the station reported.



"The quake was felt in the cities of Bitung and Manado. There was no immediate report of damage caused by the quake and no tsunami warning was issued," operational staff officer at the Winangun Geophysics Station, Sesar, said.
