Bogor Deputy Mayor Dedie A Rachim stated in Bogor on Tuesday that malls that met requirements to operate again were allowed to open on that same day.
Rachim remarked that malls, which were ready to reopen, had been reviewed by Bogor Mayor Bima Arya along with Bogor City Police Chief Commissioner Susatyo Purnomo Condro.
"The mayor acknowledges the fact that several malls had met the requirements, and they are ready to operate again," he remarked.
Rachim stated that not all sectors, including education, were offered a leeway despite PPKM being downgraded to level 3 in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi.
"Face-to-face learning is still not offered any leeway (just yet). We have to carefully make preparations for face-to-face learning to prevent the surfacing of the new wave (of COVID-19)," the deputy mayor added.

Rachim revealed that the Bogor government will enforce existing rules for sectors that had or had not received permit to operate, effective since the day level 3 community activity restrictions were imposed. "The rules would be in form of a circular letter from the mayor," he noted.
The deputy mayor was grateful for the downgrade in the restriction status.
"It means that the measures taken by the Bogor regional leadership coordination forum had succeeded in lowering the risk," he stated.
Rachim expects all stakeholders in Bogor to support and cooperate in maintaining the downgraded level of restrictions, and it would be much better if they could lower it to level 1 or even secure the green zone tag.
