Jakarta (ANTARA) - Head of the South Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) Ujang Harmawan ensured no slackness on the part of his staff in supervising and taking action against entertainment business players in their area during the Level 3 Public Activity Restrictions.

Harmawan remarked that the leadership had outlined a plan of action for each day.

"Yes, this is an order from the leadership and results are expected," Harmawan remarked after taking action against A/A Bar on Gunawarman Street, Kebayoran Baru, on Friday evening.

Harmawan pointed out that if they fail to take action against business players, it means business owners were already aware of and complied with the regulation of operating hours during Level 3 Public Activity Restrictions.

He highlighted that currently, several business actors in his area had complied with the health protocols. He expected more business players to do the same, so that they could reduce exposure to COVID-19 in the public.

"Do not allow crowds to form, (although) some business places have complied with Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions," he noted.

During their surveillance activity, Public Order Officers found that A/A Bar, a restaurant and entertainment venue on Gunawarman Street no. 79, Kebayoran Baru, was still operating beyond the permitted operating hours.

Thus, the entertainment venue is prohibited from operating during the Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions in Jakarta until September 13, 2021.

"As for the A/A, it is closed during Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions, since we do not know if level 2 will be relaxed in future. Hence, we are just awaiting instructions from the center," Harmawan noted.

Although the bar already had a permit, the manager had not conformed to the Level 3 Public Activity Restrictions regulations, he stated.

"We will see, because until now, bars, especially entertainment venues and spas, including billiards, including karaoke, have not been allowed," he remarked.
