Only two of them were fined Rp15 million
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Central Jakarta Public Order Agency (Satpol PP) has temporarily closed 47 business sites during June 15 to 25 for violating the micro-scale public activity restriction (PPKM).

Chief of the Central Jakarta Satpol PP Bernard Tambunan said on Sunday, 31 of the 47 business sites were closed for one day and 16 others were closed for three days.

"Only two of them were fined Rp15 million," he said.

Bernard said Satpol PP checked 11,722 business sites including restaurants, cafes, bars and other amusement centers to see whether they comply with health protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We are not selective (in imposing sanction). Small and large scale businesses will be subject to sanction if they violate the health protocols," he said.

During the micro-scale public activity restriction period Satpol PP also imposed sanctions on 6,019 people because they did not wear masks.
