According to information received from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat on Monday at around 8 a.m. local time, the head of state and his entourage departed for Klaten District, Central Java, from Gedung Agung, the Yogyakarta Presidential Palace, where he had been staying since September 9.
Upon arrival in Klaten District, President Jokowi will review the door-to-door vaccination activity for the community in Ngledok Village, Delanggu Sub-district.
In addition, Jokowi is scheduled to review a similar vaccination activity in Brontowiryan Village, Kartasura Sub-district, Sukoharjo District, Central Java.
During this working visit, the president will also visit Kartasura 1 High School (SMAN 1 Kartasura) in Sukoharjo District. Jokowi will observe COVID-19 vaccination activities for students in Sukoharjo District and greet students participating in vaccination at other locations across Indonesia via video conference.
Concluding his working visit to Central Java Province, the head of state is scheduled to attend a meeting with MRPTNI planned to be held at the Auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta City.
Thereafter, the president and his entourage will return to Jakarta aboard the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft via the Indonesian Air Force Base Adi Soemarmo, Boyolali District.
Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono, National Defense Forces (TNI) Presidential Military Secretary Rear Marshal M. Tonny Harjono, Commander of Presidential Security Guards (Paspampres) Brigadier General Tri Budi Utomo, and Deputy for Protocol, Press, and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Bey Machmudin accompanied the president during the working visit to Central Java Province.
