"With Indonesia's introduction to the world, we are aiming to bring investors to Indonesia," Sumedi told ANTARA on Friday.
Sumedi noted that the potential to attract investors can be realized through Indonesia's efforts to introduce its culture and natural resources.
The government, through the Indonesian Pavilion in Dubai Expo, will showcase various cultures, such as traditional dances and music, as well as innovation, technology, and the advancement of domestic trade.
All aspects displayed are packaged through a single theme, called Creating the Future, From Indonesia to The World, with the concept of Connecting Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow.
This concept elucidates the story of Indonesia's historical journey and the crucial roles of the economy and trade in the global arena in the past, present, and future readiness.
"Our culture is the result of thoughts, including innovation, technology, and industrial progress in trade. It is the result of Indonesian human culture that will be displayed at the expo," he remarked.
He confirmed that the display at the Indonesian Pavilion was the result of synergy and contribution from various ministries and agencies, as well as local governments.

Moreover, the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy will hold the Indonesia Spice Up The World (ISUTW) program to introduce Indonesian cuisine to the world.
ISUTW is also a platform to promote native Indonesian herbs and spices in the rolling exhibition area of the Indonesian Pavilion to drive exports of spices.
Not only attracting investors, but Indonesia's participation in the Expo 2020 Dubai also has the potential to attract foreign tourists to visit Indonesia, on account of the fact that this event will showcase the country's natural beauty.
Didi noted that the Indonesian Pavilion was the government's endeavor to establish nation branding with the potential to increase trade volume, as it will display superior domestic products.
"We hope the information we convey through the exhibition will have an impact. Hence, we are not only introducing but also promoting our nation's wealth to the world to invite investors," Sumedi added.
