Yogyakarta (ANTARA) - Land and spatial planning services through the Yogyakarta Land and Spatial Planning Office can currently be sought online to enhance the quality of services to community.

"This is since the development of communication and information technology is very rapid. We take advantage of it by offering access to online services for several types of services," Head of the Yogyakarta City Land and Spatial Planning Agency Wahyu Handoyo noted in Yogyakarta on Tuesday.

Two types of land services can be accessed online: the request submission of recommendations for the use of state land and recommendations for the use of sultanate lands.

On the other hand, people can also access online spatial planning services, such as land use change permits, recommendations for spatial suitability, and information on spatial suitability.

The public can simply submit a request by sending a message to the WhatsApp number 089525898500 or accessing the link https://linktr.ee/dinpertarujogja. Incoming applications will be processed during business hours.

Handoyo expected that access to online services would offer effective and efficient services.

“It is possible that people, who will access land and spatial planning services, are out of town. Hence, with online services, they can still connect with us to get the services they need. There is time and distance efficiency," he affirmed.

According to Handoyo, access to online services still necessitated several improvements, so that people can access them more easily. The services had been offered since the end of September 2021.

"Online services will continue to be improved by pushing for better systems, media, and supporting infrastructure according to developments," he noted.

He expects people to switch to these online services. "Of course, it is still a transition period, but we hope that all submissions for service requests would be conducted online," he admitted.

Letters of recommendation or permits that are included as service products will be provided as digital documents, so that people do not need to come to the office to collect them.
