Those (isolation centers) that patients have filled are Graha Wisata TMII, Adhiyaksa Hospital, Ciks Mansion, and Hasyim Ashari Grand MosqueJakarta (ANTARA) - The Jakarta Social Office has distributed more than 100 thousand food packages for COVID-19 patients undergoing isolation at home or government facilities.
The food packages were distributed at isolation centers, head of the Social Security Section of the Jakarta Social Office, Ahmad Taufik, said here on Monday.
"Those (isolation centers) that patients have filled are Graha Wisata TMII, Adhiyaksa Hospital, Ciks Mansion, and Hasyim Ashari Grand Mosque," he added.
The packages were distributed in 85 villages to people self-isolating at home, specifically patients registered with the Jakarta provincial government, he informed.
"The ones who distributed (the packaged) were village officials by first registering (the patients) through Google forms, and so far, 102,597 packages have been distributed," he said.

The packages include 20 kg of rice, one box of instant noodles, two liters of cooking oil, seven cans of canned fish, and one can of biscuits, he added.
"The distributions are in accordance with the submission on the Google form in each village," he explained.
Separately, head of the Jakarta Social Office, Premi Lesari, affirmed that the office will continue to provide social assistance of Rp300 thousand in cash on a monthly basis to children whose parents or guardians have died of COVID-19.
Earlier, Jakarta deputy governor Ahmad Riza Patria had said that the Jakarta provincial government was planning to give social assistance to COVID-19 patients undergoing self-isolation.

Aside from that, the deputy governor also informed that the government will reopen soup kitchens to meet COVID-19 patients' food needs during isolation.
As for COVID-19 handling, the Jakarta provincial government will reactivate the special call center for COVID-19 services, he said. The COVID-19 task forces in neighborhoods will also be reactivated again to monitor residents' mobility and prevent crowds, he added.
