In a press statement released on Friday, she urged the Women and Child Protection Regional Technical Acting Unit (UPTD PPA) to integrate with the Regional Instrument Organization (OPD) to provide the one-stop integrated service.
"The primary purpose of UPTD PPA's service is realizing the effort to protect women and children by maximizing services for victims of violence," she noted.
According to Puspayoga, this has been stipulated in the Sexual Violence Prevention Bill (RUU TPKS).
The function of UPTD PPA, starting from request management, case outreach, and assistance, will be far more optimal once it is integrated with OPD, the minister said.
"Victims will directly be assisted by the Social Office for their rehabilitation, the Health Office for their health examination. In addition, legal assistance and investigation will be done under one UPTD PPA roof," she informed.
"This is why the RUU TPKS also contains the effort to provide the best services to women and children victims of violence," she said.
UPTD PPA provides six services: request handling, victim outreach, case management, temporary housing, mediation, and victim assistance, according to the minister.
However, in the future, victims will receive integrated services through the UPTD PPA, she said.
"When a victim of violence reports, someone from UPTD PPA will respond to the call, whether it is the Health Office, Social Office, or PPA unit within the police," Puspayoga informed.
"We synergize and conduct cross-institutional collaboration by not taking other OPD roles. They will do their respective duties," she added.

The ministry is intensively communicating with regional leaders concerning the implementation of comprehensive and integrated UPTD PPA, she said.
Currently, UPTD PPA has been formed in 30 provinces and 179 districts or cities, she disclosed.
"Within the present time, hopefully, with help from the Home Affairs Ministry, we can realize the formation of UPTD PPA in the entire regions," Puspayoga remarked.
It is expected that UPTD PPA will not only be formed, but also provide comprehensive and integrated services to victims, she added.
