Jakarta (ANTARA) - Products from vocational school graduates can meet the current domestic requirements, according to the Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Ministry.

"That is a legendary achievement. Products from vocational school graduates are inspiring. (If we look at it from the viewpoint of) Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI), Mas Arfian (Founder of the Dtech company) is akin to a doctoral level," the ministry's Director General of Vocational Education Wikan Sakarinto, noted in a written statement here on Thursday.

PT Dtech Innovation Indonesia, a company founded by vocational school graduates, produces Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Milling 3-Axis Supermill machines. They excel in producing machine tools, with the domestic component level value of over 40 percent.

The CNC machine was also certified by PT Surveyor Indonesia since September 24, 2021, with a domestic component level value of 40.91 percent. As it met the requirements, so it could be pushed to the market and particularly in the procurement of goods and services by the government, state-owned enterprises, regional-owned enterprises, and the private sector.

Sakarinto suggested that the firm could be one of the companies referred for project-based internships for vocational students that was one of the programs of the Merdeka Vocational Campus.

Dtech founder, Arfian Fuadi, noted that the company aims to encourage children to be creative in their innovations.

"Although the company initially only served orders from overseas, but since 2018, we have given more attention to Indonesia. We want to do something for Indonesia,” he stressed.

Fuadi noted that annually, his company trained around 500 people for free, and the trainees comprised teachers and students.
