"We hope that this cooperation is continuous, so the achieved results can be followed up together later, even after the Indonesian G20 Presidency is finished," BKPM chief secretary Ikmal Lukman said here on Wednesday.
Lukman also lauded the activities conducted for supporting the Indonesian government as the G20 host in 2022, as well as the agenda of the B20 or Business 20.
Relating to the agenda, the Indonesian government is encouraging sustainable, inclusive, and green investment and energy, he noted.
The Indonesian G20 Presidency can also serve as a catalyst for national economic recovery and a platform for introducing tourism and top products of the country, he said.
Under the agreement with the chamber, BKPM has committed to providing information related to the negotiations of the Trade, Investment, and Industry Working Group (TIIWG) at the G20, supporting plans of the G20, and side events framed together with the B20 meetings, he added.

Meanwhile, the chamber's deputy chairwoman for economic affairs, Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, said that she fully supported the B20 business forum that is part of Indonesia's G20 Presidency.
"We appreciate this agreement. Also, the G20 Presidency is a moment for improving the relationship between the chamber and the Investment Ministry/BKPM," Kamdani said.
According to Kamdani, the chamber will play an active role in conveying the proposed G20 supporting activities and involve the ministry in the B20 side event.
The supporting activities include exhibitions, seminars, and business meetings, she said.
The collaboration agreement was signed by Lukman and Kamdani at the office of the Investment Ministry/BKPM in Jakarta on Wednesday.
