"The construction of such special houses is a collaboration between the Organizational Units of the PUPR Ministry, especially the Directorate General of Cipta Karya, with infrastructure development programs for settlements in the Bima and Dompu districts, such as the construction of roads and the provision of clean water," Director General of Housing at the PUPR Ministry Iwan Suprijanto noted in a written statement received here, Wednesday.
The collaboration aims to build houses and basic infrastructure for the comfort of residents, Suprijanto affirmed.
"I am optimistic that after the handover process, the regional government would prepare the necessary documents, so that it can be followed up with the asset handover as soon as possible," he noted.
Meanwhile, Head of the Nusa Tenggara I. Housing Agency, Rini Dyah Mawarty, explained that 292 rusus huntap were built in the size of 36 square meters and in the two districts of Bima and Dompu, with a budget of Rp38.9 billion by PT Hutama Karya.

The construction is spread over 185 units located in Tambe Village, Bolo Sub-district, Bima District, while the other 107 units located in Daha Village, Hu'u Sub-district, Dompu District, with a 100-percent progress in work are ready to be occupied.
"Currently, to accelerate occupancy, we have signed the official report to utilize the rusus huntap and symbolically handed over the keys to the Head of the Bima District Housing and Settlement Service and the Head of the Dompu District Hosing and Settlement Service," Mawarty noted.
Furthermore, the local government can complete the data collection and occupancy verification process to immediately relocate the victims of the Seroja Tropical Cyclone to the rusus huntap.
