The availability of the rooms will continue to be communicated to travel agents and accommodation platforms, he added.

Therefore, he stressed that tourists coming to Lombok to watch MotoGP need not worry about accommodation because many rooms are still available.

"No need to worry about not getting lodgings because there are still plenty of rooms available in Lombok," he said.

Earlier, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto confirmed that fully vaccinated MotoGP spectators will not be required to undergo COVID-19 testing.

"We have received the direction from the President that since West Nusa Tenggara's second dose vaccination coverage has reached 70 percent, spectators at the Mandalika MotoGP who have been vaccinated twice (fully vaccinated) are no longer required to be tested, both with PCR or antigen tests," he said.

According to the minister, the policy will apply to Indonesian spectators as well as those arriving from abroad.
