This is because the new capital city is being made for everyone, Susantono remarked after being inaugurated by the President at the State Palace here on Thursday.
"The existing programs are, of course, not just to (develop the infrastructures), once again; but we want to build social cohesion. A dynamic, vibrant community closeness. So that, once again (I remind you), this is a city for all," he said.
According to Susantono, the President wants the city to become a catalyst for finding answers to issues that Indonesia will face in the future.
People will interact and digitization will fill every aspect of the city, but the most important thing is for them to uphold the sense of humanity and togetherness, he said.

Susantono informed that his administration will immediately coordinate with ministries and non-ministerial government institutions, which have been contributing to the planning and the construction of the capital city.
They include the National Development Planning Ministry or National Development Planning Agency and the Public Works and Public Housing Ministry, he said.
He called for everyone's support so that the capital city can truly reflect the diversity of Indonesia.
The capital will be built as an inclusive, eco-friendly, and smart city, with sustainable development, he added.
Susantono was inaugurated as head of the Nusantara City based on the Decree of the President Number 9M of 2022.
Meanwhile, Dhony Rahajoe was appointed as the deputy head of the city. Rahajoe was the managing director, president office, at Sinar Mas Land, a property development company.
