“Inpatients at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Towers 4, 5, 6, and 7, as of Wednesday, have reached 1,078. Meanwhile, the last figure on Tuesday was 1,354 people," an official from Joint Regional Defense Command I, Septiono Prayogo, informed while providing an update here on Wednesday.
On March 9, 2022, the number of inpatients at the hospital was recorded at 2,614. Therefore, in one week, the number of inpatients has declined by 1,536.
Between March 23, 2020, and March 16, 2022, the total number of COVID-19 patients referred to the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital reached 162,025, he said.
Prayogo then provided an update on the situation at Galang Island's Special Hospital for Infection (RSKI), Batam, Riau Islands.
"In Galang Island Special Hospital, the number of inpatients rose by 10 from initially 246 people; today (Wednesday), the number increased to 256 people," he informed.
Prayogo also provided details on the number of workers and students who have returned from abroad and are currently being treated in Towers 1, 2, and 3 of the Pasar Rumput low-cost apartment (rusun) COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, Jakarta. Compared to the previous day, the number of patients declined by 270 people on Wednesday.
"The number of inpatients at the Pasar Rumput COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, as of Wednesday, is 1,122 people, comprising 501 men and 621 women," he added.
Meanwhile, at the Wisma Atlet Pademangan COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, Jakarta, the number of inpatients increased by 303. Thus, from 638 patients on Tuesday, the number rose to 941 on Wednesday.
At Towers 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 of the Nagrak low-cost apartment (rusun) COVID-19 Emergency Hospital, the number of inpatients increased by 414 from 703 on Tuesday to 1,117 on Wednesday, he said.
