He conveyed this in a joint statement with Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad on Tuesday.
Prabowo said that Indonesia is aligning its foreign policy to support Palestine.
"We are also aligning our foreign policy because we share the same stance and principles, particularly regarding Palestine and Gaza. Our ministers, our foreign ministers, continue to communicate closely, and we will always maintain a shared stance on this matter," he pointed out.
According to Prabowo, Indonesia will not waver in its continued support for Palestine.
Furthermore, Indonesia also supports finding solutions to resolve the conflict.
By deepening ties with countries that hold similar views, Indonesia hopes its diplomatic efforts for Palestine can grow and produce a tangible contribution to lasting peace, Prabowo stated.
On the same occasion, representatives from both countries signed seven memorandums of understanding (MoUs) and cooperation agreements in various fields, witnessed by President Prabowo and PM Sharif.
The signing ceremony and exchange of cooperation documents took place during President Prabowo's official visit to the Prime Minister's official residence (PM House) in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The two leaders witnessed the exchange of several cooperation documents, which laid the foundation for partnerships in higher education; halal product trade and certification; development of micro, small, and medium enterprises; efforts against drug-related crimes; and healthcare improvement.
For the first time, President Prabowo visited the PM House in Islamabad during his official visit to Pakistan on December 8–9, 2025.
At the PM House, he and PM Sharif also held a one-on-one meeting and later presided over a bilateral session between the two governments.
Prabowo's visit to Pakistan also coincided with the anniversary of Indonesia-Pakistan diplomatic relations.
