SMEsHub’s vision aligns with the ministry’s values; moreover, it mostly involves MSMEs, especially in the creative economy sector that closely relates to the young generation.Jakarta (ANTARA) - Tourism and Creative Economy Vice Minister Angela Tanoesoedibjo has urged members of young generation to explore the potential of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the tourism and creative economy sectors through collaboration with Small Enterprises Hub (SMEsHub).
She made the appeal when representatives from Indonesia SMEsHub visited the ministry to introduce the SMEsHub digital platform @smeshub.id that seeks to engage the young generation and MSMEs.
“SMEsHub’s vision aligns with the ministry’s values; moreover, it mostly involves MSMEs, especially in the creative economy sector that closely relates to the young generation,” she said in a statement released here on Tuesday.
She expressed her excitement, saying she held a discussion with SMEsHub founder Lutpi Ginanjar, who has a vision for the development of MSMEs and the young generation.

She said she is optimistic that the collaboration can help bolster the MSME ecosystem in the tourism and creative economy sectors.
“However, we need to ensure the existing issues (are addressed) in the training. Do not let the number of trainings be the last goal, instead the training results should be sustainable and have an impact on the national economy,” she added.
SMEsHub is a digital application that aims to meet the needs of Indonesian MSME players. The platform is known as the only on-demand digital platform in Indonesia that offers various inclusive and integrated features.
The application does not only focus on MSME development, but also on developing the young generation aiming for starting a business. They are digitally trained with the application so that they can market and produce creative products.
