"The package contents are not much, but please do not focus on the package value, but instead, see this as an effort to engage in solidarity with all of you," Fauziyah noted in her statement received here on Saturday.
The minister remarked that the package, distributed on Friday (Apr 22), demonstrated her thoughtfulness to those in need of help the most during Ramadan, a month that is revered by Muslims.
While distributing the packages, the minister urged residents to maintain health protocols, as the COVID-19 pandemic had not yet ended.

"Please maintain discipline in observing health protocols. Use masks, and if you have not yet received the booster vaccine, then take it. For those who want to return to their hometown, your trip will be safer if you have been vaccinated with the booster vaccine," she remarked.
Meanwhile, Khodijah, who hailed from the Pejuang region in Medan Satria Sub-district, Bekasi City, expressed happiness on receiving the basic food package from the minister.
She said that the basic needs' assistance would help fulfil her daily needs when the prices of some basic commodities start surging.
The basic needs package will also help to meet the needs for the Eid al-Fitr celebrations, she added.
