"The total number of doses of FMD vaccines for phase three reached 94 thousand, originating from France, and this is to complement the importation series of 3.104 million," Head of the airport's Type-C Customs Main Office Finari Manan remarked during a press conference at Tangerang on Monday.
Manan said, 94 thousand doses of the FMD vaccine will be directly distributed by the Agriculture Ministry to various regions in Indonesia in a bid to accelerate the handling of FMD.
"Later, all doses of this vaccine will be distributed through the Ministry of Agriculture to centers with high levels of infection," she remarked.

Speaking in connection with the number of FMD vaccines that had earlier arrived in Indonesia, she explained that 10 thousand doses had arrived on (June 12) in the first phase, while as many as three million doses on June 16 in the second phase.
"An airline, with flight number EK 356, was used for the third importation of the FMD vaccine and landed at 3:42 p.m. Western Indonesian Standard Time, using two air waybills," she revealed.
Meanwhile, Banten Acting Governor Al Muktabar voiced the government's steadfast commitment to conducting countermeasures related to the health and economic impacts of FMD transmission.
Moreover, his side also appealed to the community and livestock owners to not panic in responding to the FMD transmission, as the government can now control it by administering vaccinations to livestock.
"We appeal to the public to not worry, and we also inform that the virus from the affected animals has no effect on human health," he clarified.
