The volunteer program registration started from July 7 until July 10, according to the official statement from the Ministry of Youth and Sports on Thursday.
Candidate volunteers should meet several requirements in order to participate in the event scheduled in Central Java from July 30 to August 6.
Firstly, candidate volunteers must have active and passive English capability.

For the second requirement, they should have high spirits and be willing to maintain good conduct before and during the 2022 ASEAN Para Games.
Under the third requirement, they should be able to work quickly, individually, and within a group. For the fourth requirement, volunteer candidates must be able to successfully communicate with several parties.
The fifth requirement is that INASPOC prioritizes candidates, with experience as volunteer in a single or multievent at the national and international level.
The sixth requirement concerns other special requirements in accordance with the placement division.
For the seventh requirement, volunteer candidates must be willing to participate in a training program before they are placed in the related division.
Lastly, the committee prioritizes volunteer candidates residing in Solo and its surrounding regions.

People seeking to join as volunteers can register through the official website https://apg2022.com/.They can then choose the section volunteer or directly visit http://registrasi.vapg2022.com/ and upload various requirement documents.
These include the Indonesian identity card (KTP), Family Card, COVID-19 Vaccine Certificate at least for second dose, Criminal Record Check (SKCK), close-up photo, and full body photo.
In addition, insurance or Health Social Security Agency (BPJS) card (if available), Tax Identification Number (NPWP), and education diploma are also required to be uploaded.
The 2022 ASEAN Para Games is the 11th edition of the biggest sport event for disabled athletes, with 11 countries, including Indonesia as the host, participating in this event.
