Solo, C Java (ANTARA) - Renovation of the XI ASEAN Para Games (APG) venues in Central Java Province will be conducted by the Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Ministry, starting at the end of April 2022.

"Representatives from the PUPR Ministry have also surveyed the prospective venues in both Solo City and Karanganyar District, Central Java Province," Deputy Secretary General of the Indonesian National Paralympic Committee (NPC) Rima Ferdianto stated here on Thursday.

He noted that the renovated arenas will include the Intan Pari swimming pool and Raden Mas Said sports hall in Karanganyar District as well as Kotabarat field, Sriwedari Stadium, Manahan Stadium, and the Sebelas Maret University sports hall in Solo City.

In addition to revitalizing the venues, the renovation aims to create more comfortable access for athletes with disabilities.
