Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati stated that the integration of digital data will create good integrity as a foundation for the government and the community, so as to avoid deviant practices, such as corruption.

"Integration of all data and systems can finally create a system that has good integrity as a foundation," Sri Mulyani stated at the webinar on "Digitization as a Means of Corruption Prevention" here, Wednesday.

The minister said digital data integration could be conducted by simplifying service business processes for Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP), for instance, in ports, by providing a single billing system.

Service simplification by using the single billing system has been conducted at 10 ports, notably in the cities of Medan, Batam, Banten, Jakarta, Semarang, Surabaya, Balikpapan, Samarinda, Makassar, and Kendari.

"We hope that with the implementation in 10 ports, we would see progress in terms of service efficiency and certainty. At the same time, the integration of data creates a good foundation of integrity," she affirmed.

The implementation of single billing in port services is also expected to reduce service costs, accelerate the process, and improve service quality.

A single billing system is also applied in health services and various other services in the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Transportation, among others.

The implementation of single billing aligns with the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention being coordinated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"This emphasizes that the government system is increasingly transformed using a service digitization system," the minister stated.

Meanwhile, in terms of PNBP's supervision, the Ministry of Finance facilitates the digitization of information systems for the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) through the PNBP e-Mawas application.

"Utilization of the application is expected to encourage and empower ministries and institutions' APIP in supervising PNBP receipts on a regular, periodic, and effective basis," Sri Mulyani stated.
