"We appreciate UNS for giving the opportunity to us to showcase an overview of career opportunities at BPJS Kesehatan," Director of Healthcare Service Insurance at BPJS Kesehatan Lily Kresnowati said here on Thursday.
According to her, the collaboration will cover the recruitment process, internships, learning programs, seminars, workshops, and human resource (HR) competency development.
Kresnowati expressed the hope that the collaboration will initiate synergy between BPJS Kesehatan and UNS to support the JKN program implementation in the future.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed by both parties during the "BPJS Kesehatan Goes To Campus" event at the UNS campus on Wednesday (November 2, 2022).
The JKN implementation has entered its ninth month, Kresnowati noted. According to her, the dynamics of challenges that have come one after another have pushed BPJS Kesehatan, as the organizing body of JKN, to become stronger and develop innovations to answer them.
"Currently, the JKN program has become the largest health insurance in the world with coverage of more than 235 million participants and reaches more than one million of use every day," she informed.
Meanwhile, the competence of human resources has become the development focus for supporting JKN.
"No less important is how BPJS Kesehatan carries out quality recruitment. BPJS Kesehatan is looking for the best talents from various leading universities who will later be involved in the implementation of the JKN program," she said.
Furthermore, UNS Vice Rector for Research and Innovation Kuncoro Diharjo said that the program from BPJS Kesehatan will have a positive impact on students and the university.
"Employee recruitment is very important for universities because they are always monitored and reviewed by the ministry," Diharjo added.
