As to G20, Singapore expressed full support for Indonesia's G20 Presidency, and the Singapore Prime Minister reconfirmed his plan to attend (the G20 Summit) as one of the invitees.
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesian President Joko Widodo held bilateral talks with Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on Thursday night.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed a wide range of issues, including the G20, Myanmar, and the planned leaders' retreat next year, Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi said following the meeting at Sofitel Hotel in Phnom Penh.

"As to G20, Singapore expressed full support for Indonesia's G20 Presidency, and the Singapore Prime Minister reconfirmed his plan to attend (the G20 Summit) as one of the invitees," Retno informed.

Speaking on the Myanmar issue, the two leaders expressed their disappointment over the latest situation in the country.

"The two leaders expressed their disappointment over the absence of the Myanmar military junta's commitment to implement the 5-point consensus," she said.

The leaders agreed to hold the leaders' retreat in the first quarter of 2023 in Singapore.
