Bali (ANTARA) - The Indonesian team entered the grand final of the IESF - 14th World Esports Championships in Bali after defeating Cambodia in the upper bracket finals on Tuesday.

Competing at Ice Stage Merusaka, Nusa Dua, Bali, the Indonesian team gave their best strikes to beat the Cambodian team into the lower bracket with a final score of 2-1.

The Indonesian team, which competed in the Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) game and comprised Rachmad Wahyudi aka “Dreams,” Darrel Jovanco Wijaya aka “Tazz,” Jabran Bagus Wiloko aka “Branz,” Rizqi Damank aka “Saykots,” and Dalvin Ramadhan aka “Hijumee,” encountered difficulties in the first game.

Meanwhile, Cambodian team players "Boom," "Deja," "Oppiii," "Tyy," and "Lutu" played aggressively in the first game. They managed to draw first blood (gain the first advantage), but Indonesia, with its excellent defense, took the lead in the early game.

However, in the mid-game, the Cambodian team managed to change the situation and dominate the game.

They secured the "lord" that helped them besiege the Indonesian base in the 20th minute and win the first game 1-0.

Cambodia started the second game by drawing first blood again, but paid with a double kill from Indonesia. In the tenth minute, Saykots led his team to beat Cambodia's base and Indonesia won the second game 1-1.

The third game was rife with tension: Cambodia shortly took the lead, but Indonesia equalized its position with eight kill points. Eventually, Indonesia beat all Cambodian players and won the match 2-1, securing a place in the grand final of the Bali World Esports Championship.

Meanwhile, in the lower bracket, there was a critical match between Malaysia and the Philippines. The winner of the match will face Cambodia in the lower bracket final.
