The aim is to produce new guidance talents who can help health facilities in implementing electronic medical records and integrate them into OneHealth in 2023Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Health has prepared trainers who will guide the implementation of the SatuSehat (OneHealth) platform ahead of the national integration of electronic medical records (EMR) in 2023.
"We held a Training of Trainers to accelerate and expand the implementation of the OneHealth health information system," Chief of the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) of the Ministry of Health, Setiaji, informed here on Thursday.
The training, which was held from December 22–24, 2022, in Bali involved 99 participants from 58 related institutions. Various materials related to the OneHealth platform were provided to the participants during the training, starting from terminology standards, master data, and use cases used when inputting patient data into the platform.
The training targeted state civil apparatus (ASN), information technology human resources from the Directorate General of Health Services, management, health offices, implementing partners, and vertical and regional hospitals who have earlier participated in the trials and mentoring for OneHealth integration.
"The aim is to produce new guidance talents who can help health facilities in implementing electronic medical records and integrate them into OneHealth in 2023," Setiaji said.
In addition, participants were provided additional training materials on data security and user-friendly user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design, he added.
Chief Operating Officer of the Health Ministry's DTO, Daniel Oscar Baskoro, said that the participants also took a pre-test and post-test, which measured their understanding of the training materials.
Baskoro, who is also serving as the lead for OneHealth, affirmed that the Training of Trainers was only a start, and there would be training for other use cases in 2023.
Head of the Bali Health Office, I Nyoman Gede Anom, expressed his appreciation for the training, which was aimed at supporting the acceleration and expansion of EMR and OneHealth implementation as part of Indonesia's health technology transformation.
