"The central and regional government must carry out budget absorption in January by conducting activities in representatives and districts/cities. Moreover, districts and cities can absorb the BOKB budget for family planning services in January," Head of BKKBN Hasto Wardoyo noted in a statement received here, Wednesday.
During the Program and Budget Control Meeting (Radalgram) held on Tuesday, he also encouraged all provincial BKKBN representatives to continue to communicate with the heads of the Regional Family Planning Organizations (OPDKB) offices in their respective regions.
One of the activities he encourages is to optimize budget absorption in the regions and immediately carry out family planning services to start in January. It is hoped that the result can be visible in the first week of February.
He also pressed for changes in the new system, wherein the coordinator will be assigned as a team leader in charge of 20 people in order to become more solid in driving family planning services, wherein initially the coordinator only supervised five people.
According to Wardoyo, Program and Budget Control Meetings must be held on a monthly basis, with proper schedule and planning. The material presented should also incorporate issues related to stunting.
In addition, evaluation and monitoring, which are starting to be intensified, should always be based on the Family Information System (SIGA). The data in SIGA is already considered accurate and real-time.
For provincial BKKBN representatives still encountering difficulties in accessing SIGA, Wardoyo suggested to immediately find a solution, so that digital-based recording would be completed at the earliest.
“This is what must be done in 2023. The Radalgram must be different and better from the previous years," he stated.
