Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Industry Ministry stated that its 2022 budget realization had reached 98.13 percent, exceeding the target set at 98.05 percent.

"Thus, it is expected that in the coming year, we can consistently improve the performance of budget utilization as well as financial reports in a true and accountable manner in order to reach towards an unqualified audit opinion (WTP)," Secretary General of the Industry Ministry Dody Widodo stated here on Wednesday.

The Finance Ministry allocated Rp3.43 trillion for the Industry Ministry to carry out its programs.

The Industry Ministry utilized the fund to focus on three priorities, with the first being vocational education and training. The program covered the three aspects of training, certification, and placement. The program aims to create competent human resources for the industry.

The ministry's second priority is added value and industry competitiveness. As per its third priority, the ministry has pursued management support through the Domestic Contents Level (TKDN) certification for industrial products, developing of Industry 4.0 data and information platforms, as well as coordinating to implement the Making Indonesia 4.0 Program plan at the Secretariat General.

On the occasion, Widodo commended echelon I in the Industry Ministry for having made it as the unit with the highest budget realization, capped at 99.66 percent.

The secretary general also commended echelon II and industrial agencies all across Indonesia for having managed to utilize the budget the most.

Widodo expected that all units in the ministry could aim for both quality and quantity, in terms of budget realization.

"I expect that the budget quality also improves, so we can truly use the budget, which has been allocated, as best as possible," he concluded.
