I think it is one of the best hospitalsJakarta (ANTARA) - Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin is keen to make the dr Iskak Regional Hospital (RSUD) in Tulungagung, East Java, as a national pilot hospital.
"I think it is one of the best hospitals. It is good if there are local innovations because it is proven to work," Sadikin noted in a press release received in Jakarta, Friday.
During his visit to RSUD dr Iskak, on Thursday, Feb 2, the minister saw first-hand the health services at the local hospital.
"The reason why I visit RSUD dr Iskak Tulungagung is that I heard it has achieved a lot, the service to the community is good, and the information technology is also good, so I want to see it myself," Sadikin remarked.
RSUD dr Iskak is a B-type hospital of the Tulungagung District Government as well as a referral hospital in East Java Province that has recorded various brilliant achievements at the national and international levels.
The achievements were supported by health service innovations conducted since 2015 in order to provide superlative health services to people in Tulungagung District regardless of patient backgrounds.
Some of its superior services are the Public Service Center (PSC 199), an online registration system without a queue (Si Poetri), and Integrated Acute Coronary Syndrome Service (Laskar).
All these services are integrated with each other to enable them to be carried out quickly.
Sadikin assessed that the success of RSUD dr Iskak in innovating health services cannot be separated from the hospital management system in innovating various effective and efficient health services, with one of them being a fair and transparent remuneration system.
"This is a remote area, but it turns out to be advanced to the management of the hospital, and it is integrated," he stated.
The minister noted that the innovation aligns with the health transformation agenda currently being implemented by the Ministry of Health, especially in the second pillar of a referral service transformation.
"That is why I ask the director, can we copy the system or not," Sadikin noted.
Meanwhile, President Director of RSUD dr Iskak, Supriyanto Dharmoredjo, said the provision of top-quality health services hinged on sound synergy, integration, and collaboration as well as common goals among stakeholders in their respective regions.
