Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR) is building an integrated Digital Service Information System through the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE).

Secretary-General of the Ministry of PUPR Mohammad Zainal Fatah stated that the integration of the information system is conducted under the framework of digital service transformation to support the SPBE, including through aspects of licensing, housing, and data/information.

"The licensing portal is created for convenience and accelerating (the ease) of doing business that has been integrated with the Online Single Submission (OSS) of the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM)," Secretary-General Mohammad Zainal Fatah noted in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

The licensing portal consists of a portal for the Concession of Water Resources, Utilization of Toll Roads, Utilization of Non-Toll Roads for Building Approvals and Certificates of Proper Function, Construction Business Entity Certification Institution Licenses, Construction Business Entity Certification, Construction Work Competency Certificates, and Construction Business Entity Certificate for Representative Offices of Foreign Construction Service Business Entities (BUJKA).

The Ministry of PUPR continues to develop the use of information and communication technology in order to achieve high efficiency and better product quality, including improved management support performance.

In housing, the Ministry of PUPR is also developing an integrated digital service that is a housing portal for the public, housing services for entrepreneurs, and Monitoring/Management Dashboard for PUPR.

Fatah affirmed that to improve service quality for providing convenience and quick service, the Secretariat General of the Ministry of PUPR has also conducted transformation in the public service sector through the use of technology.

"These include e-Pusaka for compiling and supervising the implementation of an effective PUPR policy, Bravo-PUPR for running a mobile application in an integrated manner with e-Presence, e-HRM, e-Kinerja, e-Monitoring, JDIH, TNDE, and PUPR news, and also Integrated Public Services to provide ease and quick public services," he remarked.

The Ministry of PUPR is developing the ASPIRASI DPR application that can accommodate the aspirations of members of the House of Representatives (DPR) online by using a special account for DPR. The application allows members of DPR to see a list of aspirations submitted along with the status.

"In the financial sector, an e-Keuangan (e-finance) system has been developed to facilitate financial services in an integrated manner with the features of implementing the Government Internal Control System (e-SPIP), monitoring the progress in follow-up of LHP as an effort to accelerate the completion of BPK RI recommendations (SIMONTI), implementation of a system known as the taxpayers' status confirmation (KSWP) online that is integrated with the API-KSWP Directorate General of Taxes, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia," Fatah explained.
