Moreover, the ministry will expand the market for local products by holding an exhibition in Muffest Goes to NTB, MSMEs Deputy at the Ministry Ira Dunggio noted here, Friday.
As the third-biggest Muslim country in the world, the Muslim fashion market in Indonesia is not supplied with some internationally recognized products.
This drove the ministry to cooperate with the Indonesia Fashion Chamber (IFC) and Bank Indonesia to develop the Muslim fashion trend in Indonesia, so that it becomes a global fashion center through Muffest+ 2023.
The other measure undertaken by the ministry to support MSMEs is by forming a joint production house to provide assistance and training for MSMEs, specifically those in the textile field.
"This will hopefully be sustainable, and this sustainability is something that we will create together," Dunggio remarked.

Meanwhile, the ministry also operates the Integrated Business Service Center (PLUT) to facilitate and assist MSMEs seeking to promote their products.
Various aspects, such as financing and training, required by MSMEs will be facilitated in PLUT, Dunggio explained.
The ministry supports small businesses by providing certification for intellectual property. This certification is a proof that the state protects MSMEs' products.
Moreover, to preserve domestic products, specifically woven products and batik, the cooperatives and SMEs minister mandates state civil apparatuses (ASNs) to wear a woven product every Friday.
In addition, the ASN bazaar that features MSMEs' products is planned to be held once per month in April. ASNs are mandated to purchase these products as a form of support to SMEs.
