Thohir stated that the Tanjung Gerem, Cikampek, and Ujung Berung fuel terminals (TBBMs) were ready to back up the Plumpang TBBM.
Thohir revealed that several Pertamina depots were still able to meet the community's needs, such as the Tanjung Gerem TBBM, with a stock of 6,559 kiloliters of Pertamax to suffice for 15 days and 17,189 kiloliters of Pertalite that will be sufficient for 9.6 days.
"Meanwhile, in Cikampek TBBM, the Pertalite stock reaches 20,399 kiloliters for 10 days and 6,137 kiloliters of Pertamax for 11 days. In the Ujung Berung TBBM, the stock for Pertalite is 24,250 kiloliters for 11.5 days and 22,004 kiloliters of Pertamax for 29.2 days," the minister remarked on Saturday.
In addition, Thohir stated that fuel supply support is also available at the Balongan Main Transit Terminal (TTU), with a stock of 80,014 kiloliters of Pertalite for 57 days and 50,626 kiloliters of Pertamax for 170 days. Additional supplies are also available from the Balongan Refinery and Cilacap Refinery that will be delivered by sea to the Tanjung Priok TBBM.
The minister stressed that apart from ensuring continued smooth running of public services, the government is also prioritizing the handling of residents affected by the fire at the fuel terminal.
"Thank God, this morning, the state-owned electricity company, PT PLN, has turned on 21 substations. There are only two distribution substations where there are still outages, and efforts are being made to handle them," he stated.
When the incident occurred, PLN acted promptly by turning off 23 substations for public safety and PLN installations.
The minister remarked that officers are currently in the process of turning on the substations while recording the extent of damage to the installation in the field.
"Electricity supply is back on, and the fuel supply depots in a number of places are sufficient," he stated.
However, Thohir continues to monitor developments, and has urged Pertamina to take rapid-response action to help victims affected by the fire incident.
