We have prepared OIKN Perka regarding the Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR) of IKN; there are nine planning areas in IKN.Penajam (ANTARA) - The Nusantara Capital Authority Agency (OIKN) has prepared head regulations (Peraturan kepala/Perka) of OIKN on the spatial planning for the new capital, which straddles two districts in East Kalimantan — Penajam Paser Utara and Kutai Kartanegara.
"We have prepared OIKN Perka regarding the Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR) of IKN; there are nine planning areas in IKN," said OIKN head Bambang Susantono in a written press statement released in Penajam on Wednesday.
The plans for the development of four planning areas in the new Indonesian state capital have been published. The four planning areas comprise the Central Government Core Area (KIPP) and West IKN, as well as the planning area of IKN East 1 and IKN East 2.
"The five (remaining) planning areas for the Nusantara capital city (IKN) are in the process of legislation or ratification," he informed.
The IKN Authority has also received around 167 letters of interest (LoIs) from 16 countries regarding cooperation in the construction of the new capital.
According to Susantono, the offer LoIs for cooperation are still in the selection process to determine which countries are suitable and serious about getting involved in the new capital’s development.
A number of infrastructure development activities for the new capital are underway, and the land acquisition team has already processed the procurement of 300 sectors, he added.
The land acquisition team comprises the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (PUPR), the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), the East Kalimantan provincial government, and the IKN Authority.
"Of the 300 land areas that have been acquired, 18 land areas have been paid for and 285 other land areas are in the process of payment, and 128 land areas will be acquired for KIPP 1B and 1C," he informed.
The Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) has also released land management rights over 36,150.03 hectares of land in Nusantara, he added.
Land related to the administration of government becomes state property (BMN), and the rest becomes assets under control (ADP), which can be developed further.
