Prabowo expects that the struggle for workers' rights would continue until they can fill strategic positions.
The Indonesian Government continues to push for industrialization that led to the creation of 1.4 million new jobs in 2022.
Certainly, there are high number of jobs, and workers should continue their fight to increase them, Prabowo emphasized.
Moreover, he also lauded and thanked all workers in the country for continuing to be at the front line as the backbone of Indonesia's economy.
"Indonesia's export value currently continues to rise, and US$23.5 billion had managed to be realized, which is an around nine-percent increase, and Indonesia experienced a surplus 35 times," he remarked.
Hence, on the occasion, he thanked workers, who always become the nation's foreign exchange heroes.
Thus, Prabowo ensured that the police will continue to assist workers fighting for their rights, so that in future, companies and workers can collectively contribute to the growth of Indonesia's economy.
"Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), thanks to the cooperation between existing workers and industries, Indonesia currently continues to grow above five percent. This is an extraordinary economic growth," he affirmed.
"We are number four among G20 countries and number four among Asian countries. This is all thanks to the collective hard work between workers and all other elements of the nation," he added.
Lastly, Prabowo, as chief of the Indonesian National Police, extended greetings to the Indonesian confederation, alliance, and workers' union members on the occasion of International Workers' Day.
