According to the official statement, this event is held in conjunction with an exclusive investment offer for Bizaher's loyal investors.
Within the event, the ministry, in collaboration with the two parties, proudly inaugurated the funding launch for three Indonesian film productions that will be opened through the website www.bizhare.id or the Bizhare application through crowdfunding schemes.
The three films are produced by Adhya Pictures in three different genres, which comprise Bolong/The Hole (horror) directed by Hanung Bramantyo and Tulang Belulang (drama/comedy) directed by Sammaria Sari Simanjuntak.
Finally, there is Romeo Ingkar Janji (drama/romance), directed by Emil Heradi, with famous actor Jeremy Thomas as the creative director.
The Financing Access Director at the Ministry Anggara Hayun Anujuprana said that the Film Investor Gathering event is intended to encourage the public to actively participate in the financing of local films.
They can do this by becoming investors through the Fintech Securities Crowdfunding (SCF) platform as an alternative to film industry financing that has been licensed by the Financial Service Authority (OJK).
He urged potential investors to support the financing of these three film projects through the SCF Fintech platform as part of their support for the Indonesian film industry.
Meanwhile, the Ministry's Official Indriani D. Laratu said that there were four local Indonesian films that had been unveiled by the tourism and creative economy minister on February 24, 2023.
In her report, one of the films, titled "Mantra Surugana," managed to receive financing worth Rp2.5 billion or US$170,775 from the public in three days through the SCF Bizhare platform.
Within minutes after the public funding expose had been opened through the Bizhare platform, share pre-orders worth more than Rp700 million or US$47,817 had been recorded, she informed.
This figure is expected to continue to increase and can meet the funding for the three film projects.
