Soon after that a free trade agreement will also be signed, she stated at a press conference here on Wednesday.
She believes the agreement will not only boost bilateral trade between Indonesia and Russia but also intensify trade between Indonesia and EAEU member countries, in general.
Indonesia had started official talks with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) on a free trade agreement, the process for which had started last year, she said.
"We have already held the first round of negotiations in Jakarta," Ambassador Lyudmila Vorobieva said.
In the press conference, she also informed that Russia, along with other member states, will celebrate the EAEU Day for the first time on May 29, 2023.
"For the first time, not only the government of our country but also all the members of the Eurasian Economic Commission decided that it will be celebrated as the Eurasian Union Day," Ambassador Lyudmila Vorobieva said.
Lyudmila said that the economic cooperation union was founded in 2015. The union comprises member countries, such as Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
Meanwhile, on that occasion, Ambassador Lyudmila also spoke about several other international forums that would be held in the near future, including the Eurasian Economic Forum, which will be held in Moscow at the end of May.
A large delegation from different regions of Indonesia will participate in the forum.
In June, Russia will also be hosting the 26th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum under the aegis of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"We are also looking forward to having the Indonesian representatives at the event," the ambassador remarked.
In the meantime, Russia also recently commemorated the 78th Anniversary of Victory in World War Two (WWII), or called as the Great Patriotic War.
"Every year, we have a military parade in Moscow celebrating the victory and honoring our ancestors," the ambassador remarked.
During that commemoration, they have an initiative called "Immortal Regiment" under which people display photos of their parents and grandparents, who had fought in WWII, while walking along the streets of different cities.
Such activities are conducted to demonstrate solidarity and pay respects to the people, who died in the war.
